We came to NW AutoCenter after spectacularly bad service at another local shop. Our 2003 Saturn VUE was making a disturbing humming sound from the back tires. There was a horrible smell coming from under the engine. The other shop sent us home with a seven page invoice of recommended repairs, and no explanations.Jeff at Northwest AutoCenter was kind and patient as we explained our situation. Given the car's age, we weren't sure the repairs needed would take the car more than another few months. In less than two hours, Jeff called back and confirmed what repairs were needed--the right rear wheel bearing did need to be replaced (it was a safety issue) and oil was leaking onto the timing belt, causing the smell, overall weakening the belt, and of course being a big mess.We decided, based on the anticipated cost of repairs, it was time to retire the Saturn. There's more to this story, but I can't thank or laud Northwest AutoCenter enough--when it comes time for our "new" used car to get maintenance---this is where we're coming.

I have been going here regularly to get my oil changed. Lori and Georgetta are super nice. Always friendly and the service is great. I would highly recommend Northwest Auto Center.

So I was driving along and the transmission on my car suddenly went out. I limped it into the nearest auto repair shop which happened to be Northwest Auto Center...which was lucky for me. They were very helpful. They were able to take the car in within the hour and do some diagnostics. The woman at the front desk gave me a ride all the way up to Kenmore. They were fair and honest and didn't charge me too much. Very impressed!

We find them to be friendly, fair and patient. They take time to explain their diagnosis so the customer understands. They go beyond the "extra mile" as far as we're concerned. Thank you!

Needed to get broken off radio antenna removed. Recommended by nearby partsstore. Went to work right away, understood problem, did the work quickly andwas congenial. Very professional and reasonable price. Good ethical shop anda place you can trust your vehicle to.

I have come here twice now and have found nothing to complain about. I am always skeptical about trying a new auto repair shop without a recommendation. Both times I have been brought out into the garage and an explanation of the problem, with part, was given. Plus there's free coffee and wi-fi while you wait. The lady behind the front counter is a sweet-heart too!Highly recommend this business to anybody who likes honest auto work!

Trustworthy. A small business that acts like a first-class repair shop.I love that the business owner himself fixes the cars but he's not at all the car salesman type. I felt very comfortable talking to him, he's very approachable, sensible and straightforward. He seems like the kind of guy who's happier working in the garage area than the office of his shop. I'd rather come here than go to bigger shops with a lot of employee mechanics. The people who process the paperwork (insurance) are also awesome, they explain things clearly and they give callbacks when necessary. Another plus is there's an Enterprise in the adjacent parking lot for those cases where you need to rent a car while your car's in the shop, very convenient.

I found these guys on Yelp, and decided to give them a try. I called a few minutes before 5 one afternoon to get a quote to install a part I already ordered off the internet, and they said they would get back to me tomorrow morning.Sure enough, 8:05 am I got a call with my quote. I agreed to the price and set an appointment for that afternoon. They told me it would take an hour to an hour and a half. They did the work pretty quick - just under 1 hour, and due to their check-in deal, I got 5% off.All in all, no complaints here! Prices were fair (I know this since I had previously received a quote from another shady place), the checkin deal made it a little bit sweeter, and they didn't take too long.I'll probably be back for future repairs.Oh, and as an added bonus, they have some old school RadioShack memorabilia from the 80s in display cases in their lobby. Niiiice!

They are quite skilled and responsible guys. They are also working quite well with insurance (extended warranty) companies. As far as I know, they repair American, Japanese and European cars.
